It seems like forever, but really only near a month, since I was able to get back to my hexies. I've joined Hexagon Alley hoping it will be a motivator to keep at them. So this month I'm happy to report I've put in an hour so far - punching templates, deciding on a pattern I'm going to aim for - that took the longest - and choosing some fabric. Then I even had a bit of time to make the first hexies.
My goal in the next hour is to finish this flower - I'm going to keep them simple - and pick a background fabric for them. BTW: There is a fabulous hexagon quilt (several actually) in the latest Quiltmania magazine. It's issue #100. I found mine at Barnes and Noble.

Thanks for the heads up on the magazine. I love the way you centered that flower and are using the 30s fabric around it. Beautiful! And 3/4" is my favorite size. =)
These are twice the size of my first hexie project - should go faster, I hope - lol.
