1/4" hexagons

Today I'll show you the tiniest hexagons I work on. This is really a long term project, and I wonder how long I'm going to sew these small ones. But it is fun, so I'll keep on sewing for another year, I think.

These flowers are here placed on a 2" hexagon, and you understand that they are really small. I have to join at least two of these flowers to my work every month. I make a cross in my calendar, that way I keep up my motivation for it.

It isn't going fast, but still it's groing every month.

There are thousands of hexies already. You may count them if you like.

This is the back side, almost as beautiful as the front. Needn't use much batting here.

Can I inspire anyone to start these small hexagons?

2 flowers a month is certainly do-able. I have a project (ok, so it's one of many current projects!) with 1/2" hexies right now and some ideas for 1/4" projects are in the que. Thanks for the inspiration...

That is beautiful! 1/2" hexes just about wiped me out, and all I made was an ornament. I think I'll stick to 3/4" and 2". I'd love to see your two-inch center under there. =)

I find hexagons relaxing to sew and have just bought quilting on the go which is English paper piecing using diamonds squares half hexagons etc, it is the cutting out that I do not enjoy! Wonder if you cut out as you go along or have you hundreds already to stitch.
