Next Project: Hexagon Scrappy Flowers

This quilt was started some time back, no clue when but within the last 5 years.
Now it is time to get back to it.
As the close up shows, each flower is made out of 7 different prints but color coordinated.
I started in the center and keep adding one ring at a time.
I love the scrappy look of the quilt. It makes you smile whether you want to or not.

Your color skills are FANTASTIC!! I didn't see at first glance that the flowers were all made from different fabrics in the same color group.. it took the close up to show me that. It really shows great color skills on your part!! I love it!!

I forgot you even started this one! I like the idea of the color coordinated flowers with the 7 different fabrics. I've never done that.

I like the way it looks without any paths or divisions between the flowers. It looks like a display at a garden center!

It is fun matching up the flowers, isn't it? Laying out all the pieces and working the colors. I have one little stack of forlorn hexagons that I just cannot get to match with anything. Fortunately, to square up the edges I am going to need some 5 piece partial flowers...
