Wedding rings

This is a small wall hanging I made from scraps, 12"x12".  I used 1" squares. I've also used triangles and hexagons in this quilt. After finishing it, I appliqued it onto a background. Then I handquilted it, as you can see around every ring. Outside the rings I quilted some stars.

Here's a close-up for the quilting.

I love to use all my tiny scraps this way.

That is the cutest little thing! How long did that take you? I love the scrappiness of it.

I don't count hours when I do these hexies, just sew pieces around paper. One day I try to puzzle them together, and find out that I need just some few more to have a pattern I like.

Your wall hanging is very cute. Love the colours and the quilted stars finish off the design.
