Hexagon Roll Call

It's been several months since anyone posted progress on a hexagon project. Let's all show what we've been doing with our hexagons. For my part, I must report almost nothing. My sewing time all fall was very limited, and none of it was spent on the hexagon quilt. I did buy larger paper pieces and purchase some cute bugs and other fabrics, and even cut out several to stitch, but ... I've lost them. I guess it's time to clean the quilt studio again!

Progress Update

So I've been working on my hexagon diamond quilt recently. It started to call out to me and I do love looking at it.

Things are starting to come together slowly. I've got the early beginnings of a side.

I'm getting ready for two weeks of school holidays and I'm taking my hexagons away on my break. I hope to get some stitching time in.

Quilt top finish - Rainbow Charms

I have to apologise that I didn't get to post this sooner, but it slipped my mind to share this with my fellow bloggers at Hexagon Alley.

I am proud to announce that I have completed a quilt top using 2" hexagons and Kona solids. I called the quilt "Rainbow Charms". It is awaiting backing and I plan to hand quilt it in variegated colored thread.
